在翻译过程中，我发现术语都出现在人名、地名、组织名称、公司名称、电信公司等。让我记忆犹新的就是“AT&T”的翻译，因为这个词在生活中比较常见，是AmericanTelephone&Telegraph的缩写形式，中文意思是“美国电话电报公司”。还有RupertMurdoch，起初这个词我并没有查，因为上学期在报刊学的课上老师讲过这个人，鲁伯特·默多克，我印象尤深。

他出生于澳大利亚墨尔本以南30英里的一个农场，是美国新闻和媒体经营者，目前是新闻集团的主要股东，董事长兼行政总裁。以股票市值来计算，他的新闻集团已是世界上的跨国媒体集团。另外，我还记住了magnate这个词，“巨头，富豪，权贵，大资本家”之意。

之前我们小组在讨论的时候，有句话是“这并不是说„„”。我们理所当然的翻译成了“It’s not that„„”但是一个偶然的机会，其中一个组员在视听说课上看到了一个例句It simply doesn't follow that xxxeach state's obligations, in other words, are ultimately to its own citizens.xxx 又经过一番讨论和查阅，我们确定了这个说法。令我印象最为深刻的是，有一次我们在校园里散步，有个组员看到一句谚语“Fear always springs from ignorance.恐惧源于无知。”那天我们记下这句谚语，并且互相提醒如果翻译时遇到“源于”这个词，记得考虑用spring from这个词组。

我想我们真的在逐步提高，不仅是能力，包括一种难能可贵的团队精神。

在上周老师的讲话中，我了解到实际中的翻译项目一般都是规定在有限的时间内，由一个翻译工作坊(工作组)共同完成。分工完成后的译稿还需由一名负责人润色，这样可以达到风格的一致性，而且术语会更丰富一些。遵照老师的建议，我们班的同学几乎都已经分好小组。我们小组也不例外，已经准备好模拟真正的翻译工作坊，全力以赴，争取顺利完成实习。

首先，我们小组要做的第一件事就是要确定翻译文本。经过了一番小讨论和一段小插曲后，我们决定选择《MediaNow》作为英翻中的内容，《商务礼仪》作为中翻英的材料。今天我们在图书馆查阅资料的时候，发现

可以翻译的东西很多，其实这些都可以作为我们平时自学的材料。根据规定，无论是中翻英、还是英翻中，内容材料必须保证Native，拿到《MediaNow》这本书的时候，我们四个人对此都很感兴趣。

我们渴望多了解一些关于媒体新闻、文化与技术的信息，而且我们发现这本由清华大学出版社于2019年出版的书很与时俱进，内容丰富，涵盖面广，有实景、照片、图表。

最终，我们小组决定翻译“全球媒介”章节，我们觉得话语很客观，内容新颖，也有我们想了解的信息和不认识的术语，通过查阅我们一定都能有所收获。我想，经过这次翻译我们一定能更深刻、更用心的了解西方文化。

汉译英的材料是《商务礼仪》。我们小组一致认为，今后走向社会所面临问题的第一大问题就是商务场合所必备的社交礼仪和行为规范。这在商务成长路上不可忽视，将我们想了解的知识翻译成英文，对我们学懂商务礼仪和提高翻译能力都是有利的。

新的一周，经过2天的休整，同时更加投入工作之中。对于上周的合同，在洽谈完成后，合同的修订也是重要项目，而翻译员在这中间，需要把关，不仅传递着信息，也承担着任务。

早上半天，都在整理合同相关规定的条例，不能有任何法律上的缺失，虽说我是新手，但是前辈还是手把手的教我，让我先看经济法中的合同法，把其中与本次相关的内容摘要下来，直到中午吃饭，我还在奋斗中。

下午更是好好学习和实践的时候，在把相关资料整理后，拿给翻译员，看着他们讨论，以及如何翻译的更正规，虽然只是短短2个小时，可是，讨论过程相当激烈，结果也相当满意，那份合同也通过了主任的认可，交给了部长。这天下来，我深刻明白了，身体是革命的本钱，因为大家都为了工作，废寝忘食。

这周主要进行译文校对与讨论，小组人员态度很认真，刻苦精神十足，我的干劲也被组员干事们带起来了，因此我很幸运地又过了一个充实而有意义的星期。

在小组校对和讨论过程中，我发现校对和翻译大有不同，可以说，校对要完成的工作量比翻译量要大，接触和掌握的资料也比较复杂，其难度也参差不一。我认为做校对可以而且也应该接触和掌握更多的做翻译时不可能接触和掌握到的资料。

我们小组遇到的问题主要有如下几方面： 一、有些专有名词的译法不一致。我想这一点在于每个人平时的学习环境和情况都不同，我们也意识到应该每天都向本组汇报翻译情况，遇到的哪怕是一点点极小的问题，比如生词，各种专有名词等等，都应该向全组人员讨论，以确保翻译的时候达到一致。其实，这也提醒着我们，应该每天增大阅读量，多看看新闻报纸以及各种原著，尽可能的增大自己的词汇量，以及对于专有名词正确的翻译方法。

二、“错译”。有的时候我们发现大家在做翻译的时候并没有达到100%完全认真， 导致译文出现低级错误，其实我觉得校对这一环节特别重要，不仅将整篇文章的语言润色， 还可以对上一个译员的翻译结果做出评价和检查。

比如，在校对中译英的时候，翻译“信奉新教”就进行了一番小讨论：Protestant和Protestantism。经过查阅牛津高阶词典，我们确定了这一词的使用。

例如：1、“她是xxx徒还是新xxx?”Is she a Catholic or a Protestant? 2、“他就早期新xxx的异端邪说作了演讲。”He gave a speech on the heresies of the early Protestants. 3、“一名新xxx向人群发表了演说。”A Protestant delivered a speech to the crowd. 而Protestantism的用法为：1、Catholicism and Protestantism were introduced into Shanxi in 1620 1876 respectively. 2、Prussian Protestantismcould not get rid of the control of the nation in the process of the development of modernization. 3、a member of a society founded in Ireland in 1795 to uphold Protestantism and the British sovereign. 从而确定了这两个单词的用法。 “信奉”的说法如下：1、He is adherent to Islam. 2、He professed Islam.他表白信仰xxx教。A believer orfollower of Islamxxx教的信徒或追随者。

在翻阅大量翻译技巧书的时候，我懂得了什么叫做“错译”，错译的范围很广，经常出现的错译有地名、数字、日期、拼写等。我想这一点是可以避免的，只要我们平时付出更多的努力，同时也要做到更加认真负责。

三、翻译风格不太相同。如果没有校对这一环节，我想每个读者都可以看出这篇文章不是同一个人翻译的，因为无论是语气、写作风格和写作手法来看，都是可以看出区别的。所以校对这一环节对文章整体的统一也是至关重要的。

此外，我认为具有团队精神是进入翻译工作坊资格的其中一项，责任心和团队精神同样重要。听取他人的意见、学会接受。这些都很重要。
